Peterson and I have been waiting for the very first SONA of President Rodrigo Duterte. Finally, 25th of July 2016 has come! The much-anticipated event lived up to everyone’s expectations. The speech was supposed to be short & sweet but it lasted for an hour and 35 minutes. Nevertheless, there was never a dull moment! Straight and sincere. I can’t help but noticed that Mr. President looks good with his eyeglasses on! LOL  As Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar has said. “It’s nothing like any of the Sona speeches that we’ve heard before. This one will ask the nation, every citizen to march on and build the country. That’s how it’s like”.

Reason, Season, or Lifetime

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

This is one of the many nights I went out with my friends back in the days. Nene days pa. We love listening to live music while having a couple beer or margaritas. 🙂 We usually go out during Wednesdays (ladies’ night) and Saturdays.

I’m going to make this entry short.

Day 2: 10 Years From Now…

5adba33de60555db6f5b9e63bb7a9caaWow, 10 years from now. Well, by that time my eldest son Ayne would be 19 years old, Kyler would be 13, while Peterson and I would be 40. So where will I be in 10 years? Honestly, I had a hard time gathering my thoughts for this post since this is something I seldom think about. Apparently I am not much of a visionary.

Since this is a challenge, I will try my best. (big grin) As I’ve said I would be 40 that time and I see myself as a woman of substance. A woman who would live life with intention, love and passion. Confident, strong and independent. That’s quite different from what I am at this moment and those are the points that I want to work with myself right now. So 10 years from now, I hope I would become the woman I want myself to be.
